What is Maundy Thursday?
At Cottonwood Creek, Easter is not just a one day celebration. It is a week long remembrance of the sacrifice of Jesus, and celebration of His resurrection. Maundy Thursday was the day of Jesus' last supper with his disciples where He gave them some of his final commandments before the crucifixion. The Cottonwood Family celebrates this day along with Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday because of the significant impact this day makes on the story of Easter.
March 29, 5p-7p. The Maundy Thursday service is a come-and-go worship experience walking through the final days of Jesus' life. The experience lasts about 30 minutes.
