Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Part of God’s Kingdom work is His work in you. Coming to Christ is just the beginning of a wonderful journey that lasts the rest of our lives. When we pray about God’s will being done on earth as it is in heaven, let’s not forget to make it personal: Am I becoming more like Christ? Are there areas in my life where I’m doing my own will rather than God’s?
