As a response to the great devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, we are asking our church family to support victims and families of South Texas in the following ways:

Pray

Pray for the safety of those affected, as well as those first responders on the ground.

Give

Organizations trained to provide disaster relief already have an action plan to meet needs following events like this, so we encourage our members to support their efforts financially. Checks can be dropped off at the church office made out to Cottonwood Creek Church with the memo line stating Hurricane Harvey Relief. Here are groups you can give through to help:

  1. Cottonwood Creek Missions
  2. Texas Baptist Men
  3. Minuteman Disaster Response
  4. Samaritan’s Purse

Give Now

Gather

We are asking Cottonwood Creek to focus on specific needs requested by targeted Go Team locations. At this time, we are not accepting general donations.

Go

It is our desire to have boots on the ground after church partners identify ways volunteers can safely support families in the rebuilding process. As these opportunities come to light, Cottonwood will share plans to provide support.

Cottonwood has organized 3 “Go Teams” to serve along side churches in need throughout the Texas Coast.  These teams will serve in different locations and each team will consist between 10 and 15 people. The duration of the service projects will be a several days. As a project is finalized, a registration link will be activated to register.
