Thank you for your interest in serving as a volunteer at Cottonwood Creek. We value your
willingness to be a part of our team!

There are 2 steps to this process: discovering your spiritual gifts and the many
opportunities which exist to serve here at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church and
completion of the doctrinal beliefs questionnaire as well as an actual background check
for those seeking to serve with students and children. After looking through serving
opportunities, complete the beliefs section, please type in your name, ministries and
positions you are considering, and answer each question hitting the “submit” button at the
bottom of the page. Once you’ve submitted the beliefs statement, those serving with
minors will then be directed to the Volunteer Application Form.

Below are links to each ministry where you can discover opportunities to serve here at
Cottonwood Creek and a link to discover your spiritual gift. We believe that God has placed
you in this place and at this time for a specific purpose for which you have been uniquely
designed.

On the Volunteer Application form, please fill out the first page as completely as possible
to help ensure an accurate match with state/national records. When completed, please
click on the “Next” button which will take to you a page where you will have the opportunity
to identify ministry for which you are intending to volunteer. (ex: Children’s/Sports/AWANAs/etc…)
And finally, click on the “Next” button again to access the final page, which is a consent form to
run the background check. The entire process should take between 5-10 minutes to complete.

Welcome

Parking Team
A parking team member helps to provide safety to members and guests as they enter and exit church property. Serving at strategic locations around the campus, they move both people and cars quickly and efficiently as they serve to establish a welcoming environment.
•    Church Membership: Suggested
•    Volunteer Questionnaire Completion: Required
•    Spiritual Gifts: Administration, Hospitality, Service/Helps
•    Commitment: Rotational Every 4th Week
•    Weekend Time Requirement: 30 minutes before/after each service
      begins, and 30 minutes after final service.
•    Study/Prep Time Requirement: None
•    Hours Available: Sunday Morning 9:30 and 11:00

Greeter Team
A greeter team member is stationed at all entry doors to the church building and provides a crucial role in the establishment of a welcoming environment. They assist members and guests as they open the physical doors to the church building while knocking down barriers allowing God to open spiritual doors.

•    Commitment: Every Week, Every Other Week, Every 4th Week
•    Weekend Time Requirement: 20 minutes before/after each service
      begins, and 10 minutes after final service.

•    Hours Available: Sunday Morning 9:30 and 11:00

Welcome Center Team
A welcome center team member is assigned to one of three welcome desks and provides guests and members with current ministry information and options through the distribution printed materials. Serving in conjunction with our deacons, they help guide guests through the visiting process and are a vital player in the First Impressions Ministry Team as they help people feel welcomed and safe.

•    Commitment: Every Week, Every Other Week, Every 4th Week
•    Weekend Time Requirement: 20 minutes before/after each service

•    Hours Available: Sunday Morning 9:30 and 11:00

Creek Center Team
Creek center team members not only serve as a welcome and information point to guests and members, they also help guide individuals toward service/volunteer opportunities available at Cottonwood Creek. Serving in conjunction with our deacons, they help members connect with ongoing, occasional, and special event needs.

Worship Center Team
Worship center team member serve in a variety of ways each Sunday morning. Serving in conjunction with our deacons, they help distribute Creek Guides to members and guests at each entrance to the Worship Center. Team members also intentionally greet individuals in the areas they sit in the worship center before services begin and after each service concludes. Men serving on this team are encouraged to sign-up as an usher prior their worship attendance at The Creek Center.
