Milestone 4

Without a foundational moral source like the Bible, young people face a chaotic number of relational options. But God has a plan for life, relationships, marriage, and sex. This milestone helps parents tear down the barriers between them and their student to discuss all the hot topics when dealing with relationships and sex.  It is a biblical approach handling this topic from a theological assessment of what the Bible says about sex.

Milestone 5

The passage to adulthood, this milestone isn't about superficial freedoms such as keys to a new car or the latest model of cell phone. Instead, Milestone 5 outlines the responsibilities associated with becoming a man or women of God. It highlights the expectations that parents will lead their children to become men and women of God before they leave home.

Milestone 6

Parents need to prepare teenagers who are in the last two years of high school for the "realities" of life away from home. This milestone helps parents to lead discussions about God's plan for their children to become people of influence for Christ, marriage issues, and life skills such as managing finances. This milestone is a celebration as the kid transitions into the next stage of their life. With graduation comes the strict reality that students must know why they believe what they believe, we partner with the parents in dealing with these discussions!

“Authentic Faith in Christ”
Authentic Faith in Christ is a journey of following Jesus. Real life begins and grows in relationship with Jesus Christ. From that relationship, a Christ-follower grows in each Core Competency throughout the journey. It is a path filled with both high and low places and ends in eternity with Jesus. Day by day, Authentic Faith in Christ is learning to remain in Him.  Our Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) classes are beginning a study through the 7 Core Competencies, so come join us!  Our ABFs meet at 8:00a, 9:00a, 10:15a, and 11:30a every Sunday.  If you are not currently involved in an ABF, please pick up a copy of our “Class Finder” brochure at any Welcome Center for class location, times and demographic information.
