Junior High Camp
Carolina Creek, Hunstville, TX
June 8 -12
JHigh Camp is our summer camp for completed 6th through completed 8th graders. It is a the best way for our students to connect with each other as they get away from the rest of the world for a week in an exciting setting that provides a variety of sports and activities where students can experience and know the love and presence of Jesus Christ.

High School Beach Retreat
Laguna Beach Christian Retreat, Panama City Beach, FL
June 23 - 28
Beach Retreat is our high school summer camp for youth who have completed 9th- completed 12th grade.  It is a week-long getaway that allows our older students to gather outside of their normal environment in a place where they can strengthen their friendships and their relationship with the Lord through times of focused discipleship, worship, and lots of fun as well!

China Camp
July 21 - August 10
YMCA Adventure Camp Dates: July 29 – August 2
China Camp is a foreign exchange program offering Chinese students a chance to hear about the love of Christ while they are being immersed in our Texas culture. They get an opportunity to practice their English, and we get the opportunity to minister. We as a church will take the students to the YMCA Adventure Camp for one week, then we will have day time activities for the rest of their time here. Host families will then have opportunities to share, reflect, live out Christ’s love in the evenings and weekends with our Chinese friends. You will have a blast developing relationship with the Chinese students and showing them Christ’s love all week!

Connect

Connect meets on select Wednesday nights during the summer usually from 6:00p – 8:00p depending on the event.  It is a night of fun and fellowship that focuses on building relationships and creating friendships that will immediately “connect” students with each other and take them to the next level.  Cost will vary depending on the activity for the evening, but it will be approximately $10 per student.
**Note: There is no carpooling offered for Connect, and the weekly locations have been intentionally left out so that students will be encouraged to come the Sunday before to find out.

Thursday Night Party (TNP)

TNP (Thursday Night Party) meets on Select Thursday nights during the summer from 8:00p – 10:00p.  TNP is a high school only event where youth get to hang out and play new and exciting games with each other on campus at Cottonwood Creek.  It combines late nights, fellowship with friends, and fun to create one event that you just can’t miss! 

5th Grade Retreat
August 16 - 17

Parents,
We are excited to meet you and your students in the coming semester. Our Youth Staff wanted to tell you about an amazing opportunity for your student. We are putting on our annual “5th Grade Retreat,” which we designed to introduce your students to the Junior High Ministry here at Cottonwood Creek. 

We will be hosting this 12 hour-long retreat at Group Dynamix in Carrollton on the 8th until the 9th of August. We will be meeting at the church that night to carpool at 7:15p. It is a safe, family friendly gymnasium that has a ropes course, archery tag, laser tag, and many other fun team building activities for your student. 

The cost will be $49, which will include admission and pizza, but also bring your favorite snack and drink to munch on throughout the night. We only have 40 spots available, so claim one before it’s too late. The deadline to sign-up is August 8th. We hope to see your student there and look forward to the next seven years with your student here at the Creek Student Ministry.
