It’s a great recreational activity, hikers can walk as far as they want at their pace while building relationships! We will have local group walks, hikes in nature learning about health & nutrition and opportunities for out of town adventures.

Creek RVers –

Welcome to the Creek 55+ RVers! We enjoy RV camping, outdoor activities, and great fellowship with our Cottonwood Creek church family in a beautiful natural setting. Whether you are in an motorhome, tent, or trailer, join us in planning and attending trips filled with outdoor adventure, faith and camaraderie. 

We organize our trips through our private Facebook Group, Creek 55+ RVers. Any member of our group can create a camping trip by posting the details and adding it as an event, so others can join. Everyone is responsible for reserving their own campsite, as close as they can to the organizer’s campsite. 

To make the process easier, our group maintains a shared Google Spreadsheet with tabs at the bottom for you to add your trip, campground, and contact information.

On each trip, members contribute foods to create shared breakfast and dinner meals that we enjoy around the campfire. Sunday mornings, we come together for a shared worship time where we thank God for the beauty each place holds and for the time we get to spend together.

Come join the Creek 55+ Travelers and explore new destinations with us! Whether you’re looking to travel by private vehicle, motorcoach bus, or go on a cruise, our group has something for everyone. We discuss and plan trips with our Cottonwood Creek church family via our private Facebook group, Creek 55+ Travelers. Where do you want to go? National Park? All-inclusive? Ocean or River Cruise? Weekend Get-away? If you love to fish either casually, semi-competitive or competitive we will have opportunities for you to connect with others who share the same level of interests as well events for your kids and grandkids!

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in America, especially for active seniors.   We will be scheduling Orientation Classes including coaching basic skill to get started and there will be open courts for those who have previous experience.

Arts and crafts is a Cottonwood Creek 55+ ministry, whose mission is to share the love of creating things and learning new crafts as we fellowship together.

Key  focus is to provide different craft activities so that we can learn or share our talents with others.

We are up for trying new things such as- Quilting & Sewing Painting & Drawing Jewelry making Knitting & Crocheting Cross-stitch, Embroidery & Needlepoint Scrap booking & Card making

Our mission is to have fellowship and learn new crafts.

Plan to meet as a large group quarterly at Cottonwood Creek Church.  You can bring a craft you’re working on. If you would like to learn a new craft, we will probably have someone who can teach you.   For example if making jewelry is something you are interested in, that group would then schedule a time and location to do just jewelry. 

Lasting friendships is our goal, while enjoying vehicle related activities in the metroplex area, together.  Come and be awed at the detail and work that transpires into preserving vehicles of all sizes and shapes, as well as, new exotic vehicles.  Please join us and lets do this together.

Our first outing will be a tour of THE SHOP CLUB followed by lunch at the DERBY restaurant located in the CLUB facility.
