Every Sunday, Room: Children's Wing
Sunday at 9:30 & 11 a.m. | Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
Location: Children's Wing
What to Expect
Check-in and Drop-off
- At the check-in kiosks, a leader will take the temperature (no-touch thermometer) of all children before checking them in.
- Children will be checked in only after parents confirm that their child has not exhibited any of the symptoms listed on signs in the lobby.
- Assigned leaders will then enter the family’s phone number in the kiosk and print the child’s security labels.
- Parents will take the printed labels and attach them to their own children before dropping them off at their classroom.
Pick-up
- Preschoolers/Kindergartners: Proceed to the child’s classroom for pickup, observing hallway social distancing as much as possible.
- Note: If the same parent/guardian of a preschooler/kindergartner is also picking up a 1st-3rd grader from the gym, the preschooler/kindergartner should be picked up first (to limit kids in narrow preschool hallways).
What We Provide
Snacks
- Snacks will be served individually, and sharing will be discouraged.
Curriculum
Your child will hear a Bible story every Sunday in a clear and meaningful way that is easy for preschoolers to understand. We reinforce the story each week by using activities, games, crafts, color sheets, and puppets. Weekly lessons and activities are planned using Standard Publishing’s Heartshaper curriculum.
Security
Your child’s safety is the utmost importance to us. These are the guidelines for our Early Childhood rooms:
- We require two leaders to be in the classroom in order to accept children for drop off.
- All of our adult Creek Kids leaders are annually background checked and will be wearing a lanyard with a picture I.D. badge or a security sticker printed from the check in system.
- Our youth leaders must be 14 years old and completed a Youth Covenant that requires a parent signature to serve without a sponsor.
- Children will only be released to adults with a security sticker or proper identification, not siblings.
- We ask that parents stop at the door and not enter the classroom when dropping off your child. This is less disruptive for other children and allows us to know that only background checked adults are in the classrooms.
