Walking By Faith – Women’s Study

January 20, 2022 @ 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

WALKING BY FAITH

A202/203 | Amber Gaige | Thursdays | 6 p.m. | Starting Jan. 13

Habakkuk means “One who embraces” or “One who folds his hands.”

Unfortunately, these qualities were getting harder to find among God’s people in 7th century B.C. Because during this time period, Judah was surrounded by idolatrous nations who rejected the one true God.

Rather than conform to what he saw, Habakkuk administered a little “tough love” any southern momma can recognize! His message?

God holds people accountable for their own actions, and He has a higher standard for His beloved.

Walking by faith means not conforming to those surrounding us and influencing our culture.

Walking by faith means trusting God more than other people – even our own family.

Walking by faith equals obeying the one true God despite what’s happening in our culture.

Over the next 6 weeks, we will join Habakkuk – By folding our hands and embracing a more intimate calling – Taking a deep dive into what it means to walk by faith and choose Him above all else.
