Tell Us About Your Family: I’ve been helpmate to Scott Ott for 28 years. Scott is Real Estate Investor and App Developer. He is also known as Political Satirist “Scrappleface” to Rush & Beck fans.

We are proud empty-nester parents to four wonderful kidults! Grace is married to Mike and she is a Real Estate Agent in Asheville, NC. Haleigh is an Indigenous Tribal Church Planting Missionary with International Tribal Ministries in Bolivia, South America. Zacharie is married to Jaime and is a Microsoft Specialist. Jonah is a Coffee Educator and Consultant and proprietor of Viewfinder Coffee Roasters.

Favorite Thing to Do:  I love organizing and managing events both large and small – concerts, conferences, fundraiser dinners, weddings, showers, etc.  

What Makes You Laugh: Nonsensical jokes that little kids make up 

Favorite Movies: Action 

Favorite Scripture: Zephaniah 3:17 

Favorite Sports: Kansas City Chiefs & Royals 

Something People Don’t Know About You: I served as a Children’s Ministry Pastor/Director from 1991 to 2015 before I was retired by a car accident and 11 months of recovery. I loved every aspect of serving in this role, but my favorite part was discipling and equipping parents and other adults to be disciple makers of the children they taught both within the church building and their homes. 

Hidden Talent: TBD 

Biggest Fear: That Satan would learn my 2nd greatest fear!

Pet Peeves: Mean people 

Spare Time Pastimes:  I resale items that are donated or that I find at yard sales and thrift stores through my Facebook store – “Sending Hope Online Resale – Missions Fundraising” – to support my daughter Haleigh and mission trips to Bolivia. 

Most Exotic TripOh man! I’ve been to 11 countries with mission teams, and all had something exotic about them.

Life-Changing Moment:Learning I am allergic to corn!

Most Adventurous Experience:Traveling to the Amazon Jungle to visit my daughter Haleigh – staying with an Indigenous Tribe and eating piranha!
