Biblical Worldview: Intro to Psychology

Wednesdays at Midweek | Jan. 7 – May 13 | 6:30 p.m. | A212 | Register

The Biblical Worldview Series is designed to equip the church to think critically for themselves (2 Cor 10:4-5) amidst the battlefield of competing ideas that we are surrounded by each and every day. Through short video lessons and the textbook with thought-provoking study questions, students from ages 9 to 90 will be taught to think critically from a Biblical perspective. In each subject, we will look at the fundamental Biblical doctrines and consider ideas which are implied within those doctrines. We will also examine opposing ideas from other worldviews and look at the impacts these have had in the world from a historical and personal perspective. Books will be available in class for $15 (discounted rate). Books can also be purchased here: Greater Than I Ministries Website

Romans: A Verse-by-Verse Study: Life in the Spirit (Romans 8: 18-39)

The book of Romans is Paul’s clearest and most comprehensive explanation of the gospel—what God has done for us in Christ, how we are to live as believers, and how God is working out His plan for the world. In this verse-by-verse study, Russell Freeman and Jim Warner will guide you through one chapter each week, helping you understand the rich theology of Romans in a clear, practical, and life-changing way. Whether you are new to Bible study or have walked with Christ for years, this class will deepen your understanding of salvation, grace, righteousness, and the power of the Holy Spirit in the Christian life.

This class is open to all ages and those that are married or single.

Yet most of us see the value in cultivating spiritual disciplines, and we long to be more consistent in our relationship with God, even in the midst of our busy lives.
