How much will VBS cost? VBS is a free event.
What if I’d like to contribute toward VBS? You can send a check to Cottonwood Creek Church with VBS marked in the memo section.
What is the registration close date? Sunday, May 31, 2026
Will there be walk-up registration? Yes, we will have walk-up registration if there is still room available for that age/grade. Walk-up registration opens @ 8:30 a.m. during VBS week.
What if my child wants to be with a friend? A Friend Request form needs to be completed by both parties; children must be the same age/grade. Form link will be provided in the email confirmation after successfully registering.
Do I need to send lunch with my child? No, a snack will be provided each day. If your child has allergies, you may want to send their snack with them each day.
How do I drop off my child? You will need to park and walk your child into the building each day.
How will I know where to drop off my child? You will receive an email Sunday, June 7 @ 6:00 p.m. with your child’s room assignment. You will drop off and pick up your child from that room.
What if a parent wants to volunteer for this event? We would LOVE to have you volunteer with us! The VBS Leader registration will open Jan 1, 2026. Background checks are required for all our volunteers.
If I volunteer, can I request to be in my child’s VBS classroom? ABSOLUTELY!

What if my child isn’t comfortable spending the night? Your child can be picked up Friday evening @ 9:45 p.m. and brought back Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m.
What are the sleeping arrangements? Six sleeping rooms will be available: (1) Kinder girls, (2) Kinder boys, (3) 1stgrade girls, (4) 1st grade boys, (5) 2nd grade girls, (6) 2nd grade boys
What if a parent wants to volunteer for this event? Contact Kelly Kitch our elementary minister and let her know your interest to begin the process. Background checks and Child Protection Training are required for all our volunteers

Creek Kids Camp is an overnight camp at Lake Lavon Camp in Princeton, TX.

How much will the camp cost? Early Bird $210 (Jan 1 – Mar 31); Beginning April 1 $250
Will there be buses to and from camp? No, parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up at Lake Lavon Camp.
Are there carpool options available? Carpool options will not be available through Cottonwood Creek Church. You will need to manage these on your own.
What if my child needs to be picked up early? Arrangements will need to be made ahead of time with Kelly Kitch, our Elementary Minister. Campers will not be able to return to camp once picked up.

Through our Make Room campaign, we will provide a dedicated student space, improved parking, additional driveways, Worship Center seating, new restrooms, and ministry space. These improvements will enable our church to accommodate our growing body of believers and will serve our community for generations to come.
