My name is Bethany Sanders and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas (License #: 55348).

My desire is to walk alongside you in your journey towards healing and freedom. I practice from a theoretical framework based around relational theory and psychodynamic theory, which means that I do believe that much healing can be done through the relationship between the client and the therapist as well as taking a deeper look at our past to understand our present. I enjoy working with adults of all ages.

I like to see the client as a whole person and not just as one symptom or one issue. We all go through challenges and changes. We all struggle and suffer at various stages of our lives. Together, we will see how you cope and if it is how you want to continue to deal with these challenges or if there might be another way. Some of my areas of expertise include life transitions and changes, as well as dealing with perfectionism, shame, guilt, or self-criticism. The goal of increasing self-compassion is one that many of us need.
