I am a Graduate Student Intern under the supervision of Dr. Bernis Riley, LPC-S, Psy.D.  I am pursuing my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.  I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University as well as a Master of Business Administration degree.  I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and a member of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Honor Society.  I am a trained SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts) facilitator.  I am also Gottman Level 1 Certified. My specialty is relationship trauma with a primary focus on helping men grow in sexual integrity, deal with shame, and overcome anxiety and depression.

I’ve been there and know exactly what it is like to have the above feelings. As someone who has walked this road myself, I specialize in relationship trauma which includes trauma that occurred in a marriage or trauma that one or both spouses brought into the marriage. One of my primary focuses is helping men grow in their sexual integrity and overcome pornography and affairs. We will work through the reasons you are stuck – this isn’t just an issue of lust. We will embark on a proven process of recovery, healing, and redemption. We will seek the “why” behind your unhealthy coping mechanisms, work on developing empathy, and rebuilding the trust that has been damaged in your marriage. This will likely be the most difficult journey of your life but freedom and healing is available. I want every man to discover who God says they are and become the men, husbands, and fathers they were designed to be.
