We are the Mom Community- MomCo for short.
MomCo is a non-profit organization that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church. MomCo — then, simply known as MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)—was founded in 1973 when seven women in Colorado invited moms to meet regularly to grow together as women, parents, and leaders, with the ultimate goal of reaching women with the hope of Jesus. Today, the small gathering they called MOPS now extends to 101+ countries, 25 languages, 72,000+ meetings a year and influences over a million moms annually.
The MomCo meetings alternate between guest speakers and activities. We provide a wide variety of speakers on a variety of topics to encourage moms in different stages of life. Each meetup includes time for brunch, table discussion and prayer.
With your $120 registration for the year, each mom registered for membership with The Momco will receive all benefits of membership including a 1 year subscription to their magazine. The remainder of the fees is used to obtain speakers and supplies. We do ask members to volunteer to bring food items to serve during meetings.
Each member requiring childcare will pay additional $100 per child for KidsCo for the year. There is a 2-child cap on the cost of childcare. No refunds on childcare. The cost covers your childcare for all 12 meetings in the Fall and Spring. You may pay in full at registration or 50% up front with the remaining balance due on January 9, 2026. |
MomCo provides a welcoming and fun environment to meet other moms with children the same age as your own. You will be assigned a table with 6-8 moms. This will introduce you to a small group of moms whom you will get to know throughout the semester. Your child will also benefit from the Christian based curriculum of our KidsCo program while getting some fun time to play with other children while you get adult time!
