We are ramping up this year with our 1st event of this quarter, to serve our community and hope that you will be able to join us.

Hugs Greenhouse in McKinney needs of 10-15 volunteers, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on March 23, to help prepare garden boxes for their learning garden. (You don’t have to have a green thumb). We will be mixing and prepping the beds to get ready for planting.

What is Hugs Greenhouse you may be asking?
“Hugs Greenhouse is the second direct employment program from Hugs Cafe Inc. We have developed an additional social enterprise that trains and educates adults with special needs on gardening, retail sales, and socialization within the community. All of our programs offer training and educational employment to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they may gain respect and independence.”
