Tell Us About Your Family: Jeana and I have been married for 30+ Years. In addition to working alongside me, she is a realtor and leads a ladies Bible Study at Cottonwood Creek. We met in the church nursery at Spring Baptist Church, but neither of us remember our first meeting. We have known each other all our lives. We have four children: Jace (Graduated for University of Arkansas and Owns Caton Roofing & Construction), Jordan (Graduated from the University of Oklahoma and Works for Texas instruments), Jensyn (Graduated from the University of Oklahoma and works for Ernst & Young) & Jarrett (College Student at the University Arkansas).

Nickname: I really don’t have a nickname—my mom always insisted on me being called “John Mark”…not John, not Mark, but John Mark. In fact, if you call me “John” in front of her, she will still correct you : – )

Tell Us About Your Family: My wife, Janelle, and I and have two boys, Micah and Austin. 

Previous Jobs or First Job: My first job was in 1988 at the Falls Creek Baptist Encampment in Davis, OK. My job title was “Chapel Boy.” 

If You Could Meet Anyone, It’d Be: Dietrich Bonhoeffer 

In Ministry Since: I have been in full time ministry since 1995. 

Life-Changing Moment: I was involved in a serious car accident in 2006, where I was Life-Flighted to Parkland Hospital in Downtown Dallas and was put back together with titanium implants.

When You Were Saved: I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of 7 by my bed with my father leading me to Christ.  I was baptized at 8.

Tell Us About Your Family: I have been married for over 20 years and have a son and daughter.

Nickname: Hillbilly, El Jefe (college nickname)

Regular Order at Starbucks: Starbucks is overpriced, but Dunk’n Donuts has the best coffee. Coffee should only be drank when it is hot and without any flavorings or additives.

People Who Inspire You: Pastors, military leaders

Weird Quirks: OCD when it comes to lowering the garage or locking doors. I always have to check it 3 or 4 times before I leave.

Favorite Thing to Do: Some of my favorite things to do are spend time with my family, going to the lake/boating, hunting, fishing, cycling, exercising, and generally just being outdoors.

Least Favorite Thing to Do: My least favorite thing to do is yard work…I hate it!

What Makes You Laugh: I enjoy laughing and having a good time. I will laugh at almost anything…

Justin Frazier

When You Were Saved: I grew up going to church every week and even went through Confirmation class, but it wasn’t until High School that I found myself in my room on my knees finally giving my life to the Lord. 

Family:  

My wife, Jennifer, is the Athletic Director for McKinney Independent School District. 

Our oldest son, Zach, is at Oklahoma Baptist University where he plays football. 

Our middle son, Brandon, is at Auburn University where he plays football. 

Our youngest son, Dylan, is at McKinney North High School where he plays football & basketball.  

Athletics have always been a big part of our lives. My brother is also a football coach (college & NFL) and Jennifer’s brother is the basketball coach at Prestonwood Christian Academy. 

What Makes You Laugh: I love to laugh – and God seems to place plenty of funny people and situations in my life every day. 

Regular Order at Starbucks: Iced Black Tea Lemonade (I don’t drink coffee!) 

Favorite Scripture: Romans 8:28 

Favorite Sports: Anything my boys are playing. 

Life-Changing Moment: When I was in high school, I was invited to join a Bible Study that met on Sunday nights in a friend’s home. There were about 20 of us who met for nearly 2 years and being around those amazing people who were pursuing the Lord changed my life forever. 

Something People Don’t Know: I’ve been to all 50 states. 

Time It Takes to Get Ready: 15 minutes. (Having less hair has its advantages!) 

Favorite Food: Pizza (It’s the perfect food that covers the 5 main food groups!)

When and Where You Were Saved: I was saved as a young adult at a small church in Nebraska. It was after learning how to take God’s Word and show someone else what the Bible said about salvation, and eternal life that I realized that I had never done that.  I had head knowledge but I did not have a personal relationship with Christ.  At that time with full understanding of why I needed to be saved, I confessed my sin, and asked Christ to be my Savior.

Tell Us About Your Family: I have 3 grown sons who are married and 13 grandchildren.  My husband and I were in full-time ministry together for many years before he passed away in 2014.

People Who Inspire You: Missionaries – both current and those from history.

Favorite Scripture: Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord alway; and again I say, Rejoice.” I love this verse because it teaches me that no matter what is going on in my life, whether good or bad, I can rejoice. Because the Lord never changes, I can always rejoice in Him.

Favorite Thing to Do: Travel – especially with family.

Favorite Food: Tex-Mex, Italian and a good steak.

Tell Us About Your Family: I am a mom to 5 ranging from 7-22 years old (we were doing potty training and drivers ed at the same time). I will be married to my husband Dan for 20 years this year. We attend Cottonwood Creek Church and are directors of a LifeGroup for Adults.

Previous or First Job: Over the last 20+ years, I have been blessed to start non-profits, lead in different ways in women’s ministries and start a teen mom’s ministry in McKinney.  

Favorite Things: At the core of who God created me to be, I treasure the simple things like fresh flowers, music, candles and a good cup of coffee. More than anything else, I love having deep conversations with other women and championing each other to stand firm in our faith to build the kingdom of God.  

I am honored to serve alongside the women of Cottonwood Creek Church.
